Tim's Notes: North Carolina Waterfowl
Hunting Style: These guys hunt the entire coast of North Carolina starting from a 10 day early teal season in September to blistering cold weather in late January.. Tipically hunting open water ducks such as Pintail, Widgeon, Teal, Mallard, Canvasback, Wood Duck, Ring Necks, and few others.. They have numerous blind locations to hunting thousands of acres of salty marshlands on the coast. Later in the season they choose to brushblind hunt for better consealment..
Weather: Early Season - 55 - 75 degrees.... Late Season 25 - 45 degrees
Camp: Waterfowl hunters stay at a hotel within 5 min. of boat ramp. Lodging and meals not included.
Food: Lodging and Meals not included in Waterfowl hunts.
Guides: Their guides are excellent callers and have the knowledge to get you on some fast action wingshooting!!!
Cost: $200 per day per person.
Success Rate: The colder the weather, the more birds that are there!!!!!!
Season Dates: Dec. 25 - Jan. 29.
