Tim's Notes: Illinois Whitetails

Hunting Style: Illinois consistantly produces big bucks. You will find that this hunt is located on twelve hundred continues acres that is archery only. Free Range & well managed with a 140 inch minumum bucks allowed. Strickly a tree stand and blind hunt. Opening week is good on food plots that we've placed back in the timber. The rut is always good as well. Late season can be good if it gets real cold. Snow poors them into my food plots late in the season. I also have farms that can be leased for 7 day periods where you take care of every thing else. These farms are in Pike county. For both hunts you will see good buck to doe ratios with a good age structure. This is a 6 day hunt. Ninty percent of my stands are set on pinch points and food sources. 200 inch deer reside here. This is a video hunt. So, all footage will be used on Relentless Pursuit TV.

Weather: Can rain & snow. 20 degrees F to 75 degrees F depending on time of year.

Camp: The lodge is the best you could ask for. Hand cut lumber log cabin with all the luxuries of home.

Food: Full time cook. Four course meals at night. Wild game cooked often.

Guides: Thats Me Timmy Wells

Cost: $4000 gets you 1 buck, 1 doe, and 30 coyotes!

Success Rate: 60 percent shot opportunity. If you can sit em out your success goes up.
